We would like to ensure that you receive your package in the same condition it left our production room. For this reason we highly recommend you to choose to have your item sent 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air during the warmer months or when shipping to a warm climate. During the hot summer months, we do not ship on Thursdays or Fridays so that your package does not remain in a FedEx warehouse over the weekend.
Our chocolates are packaged according to the weather. If temperatures are near or above 70 degrees, we will ship your item in packaging designed to protect against warm weather. We cannot guarantee any package when temperature exceeds 90 degrees.
Packages are shipped via Federal Express, where charges are applied by zone and weight. Shipments in the continental U.S. will generally range from $8-$20.
Zoë's Chocolates are a fresh product and have an approximate three week shelf life. Please note that we use only the freshest of ingredients and our chocolate does not contain any paraffin wax, hydrogenated oils or other preservatives. The chocolate should be stored in a dry, cool place, approximately 65 degrees Fahrenheit, well-wrapped and away from other odors. Chocolate will absorb surrounding odors.
We do not recommend refrigeration, but if you find that you do not have proper storage for the chocolate or need to hold it slightly longer than the recommended shelf life, place the boxed chocolates in an air tight wrapper and refrigerate. When ready to use, remove from refrigerator and allow box to come to room temperature before unwrapping.
Please allow between 48 to 72 hours for your order to be processed during peak season.
